One of the biggest hurdles and struggles I see new entrepreneurs over and over is that question, where do I find my people?? Where are my potential clients? How can I find them to sell them what I have…
When in fact you’re asking yourself the wrong question…
You should be asking yourself how do I get people to find me?
And the reality is, is that they are already searching for the service you give, but if you’re not showing up on YouTube or Google then most probably your competitor is, because they are putting the work
That’s why showing up on social media is crucial for your business survival… and I know you might be thinking...
but there are so many things I need to do on social
its exhausting...
it's time consuming...
I don't know what to do...
I don't know what to say...
I don’t have the patience...
That is why having a conversation is one of the first things you should be doing building those connections over a private dm or pm prospect is one of the easiest.
And I know what you might be thinking here… ok again it's time consuming…
But actually when you think about it, writing a personal message, that is valuable or sending a personal voice not, or sending a special video to someone on their personal account it’s the same as doing that on their whatsapp…
It doesn't get any more personalized than that… also this allows you to create that connection, and provide valuable feedback and build a relationship based on their needs and wants…
Not reaching out and not showing up, is leaving everything up to fate and chance..., and a hole of praying if you pray…
So here’s what I do, I start by seeing who likes and comments on my pictures, reels, lives and I write them a separate message - that already breaks the ice, because you’re giving them your time, I may comment on some of their images as well to make the conversation more casual… but always and every time is about them.
And from there I build that relationship with that potential lead…
So, are you going to continue to not showing up, or will you at least give yourself the opportunity to do this at least 3 times a week and build new relationships?
