Do you think posting should be consistent even if you don't have a post ready or wait for a quality post??
I see so many business owners wait for divine intervention to have a quality post…
And to me that thought is a completely distorted way to look at your posts…because what you think is quality for another person they’ll think is junk…
And the other way around… when you think something is junk that person is thinking that is quality…
Potatoe - potato right?
It’s like if you had a partner you broke up, someone else will pick what you don't like… and love it… lol
And that is because our personal opinions of quality are subjective… your definition of quality is completely different from even the opinion of your customers…
They might even have different beliefs and thoughts what quality is all about in their life and in their business
You can’t be the quality regulator…
Yes, you want to put out quality
But to me consistency is queen!!
Because consistency moves you closer to quality as defined by your followers and your future customers
Listen I have this podcast, a YT channel, an IG account, Pinterest, Linkedin, Facebook page
And not for my ego…
For me to get to know my customer better and to build things for him & her…
So, if I’m guessing right, that what you want is to sell your product or service right??
So your objective on social media is for people not to think you’re cool amazing, a know it all, or cute, or rich, or funny, or the best, or number 1
Your objective on any social platform should be to get somebody to trust you
When they trust you….
Why because you show up in any type, shape, or form...
They will talk back to you…
So whether you’re on your business, in your store, here online, in a live setting, or you’re giving a presentation or even you’re with a bunch of friends talking…
The way you show up and interact is the way people will perceive you…
So when you say to yourself I have nothing to post and say to yourself all the reasons why…
Let me tell you a little bit more,
A few weeks back a client of mine did a Facebook live over the weekend…
When we’re on that live show, a gentleman asked her a question on what she does, and he wanted information about her business…
2 days later, she said, remember the guy that was asking me that question about my business, well he converted to a client!
And I remember saying to her, it's amazing that it only took you 7 seconds to respond to that question, and now you have a new client…
So while you’re waiting to decide if your post is quality or not… another 7 seconds go by…and another 7 seconds go by...and another and another 7…
You have to decide what’s worst… you waiting or you taking action, action is what sets you apart, action is what will get you closer to what you want… plus there’s no such thing as posting too much… what there is, is a thing for posting too little and with not a clear message.
It’s not enough to post just to post… you need to post because you want something to change, you want a reaction, an approach…
So with that in mind…
